Sixteen years after losing the final to Brazil, Ghana won the Brazilian under-20 this Friday, October 16, 2009. Ghana won by 4 to 3 on penalties after 120 minutes from 0 to 0, and won the World Under-20 in Egypt "Super 20".

It is the first title of the category for the Ghanaians, who were runners in 2001 (for Argentina) and 1993. The country has two titles in the World Under-17 and two years ago, the same generation that now shone in Egypt had eliminated the Brazilians in the finals of the under-17.
